KATHRIN OLLROGE (POTSDAM)
FOTO-LESUNG / "RAUM FÜR GEDANKEN"
The "room for thoughts" is a mobile living room installation, traveling through different places in the county of Brandenburg to collect thoughts about asylum and refugees. Visitors are invited to write their thoughts about living door to door with refugees on an old typewriter installed in the room. The aim is to encourage more openness towards new forms and perspectives for a more tolerant coexistence and to support the integration of refugees. A selection of the anonymous
"thought papers" and portraits of some of the participants will be published in a booklet presented during a photo-reading at "Made in Potsdam".
